Questions about this service
Can you treat office syndrome at my home or condo?
Yes. The physiotherapist comes to your home or condo within our service area, checks your posture and painful spots, looks at the desk, chair and screen you actually work at, then plans treatment with exercises you can keep doing yourself.
How many sessions until it gets better?
It depends on your symptoms and how long you have had them. As a starting point we usually suggest 1–2 sessions a week, together with changes to your working posture and exercises at home. The physiotherapist reviews your progress at every visit.
Which symptoms mean I should see a doctor first?
Fever, severe night pain, sudden weakness in an arm or leg, or pain after an accident. In those cases see a doctor first, or alongside physiotherapy.
Weakness, slurred speech, facial droop or chest pain: call 1669 or go to emergency care.
